Your information and who can see it

Signing in, keeping your account safe, backups, and what happens when a customer asks to be removed.

Signing in

Each person signs in with their own email. To make your account safer, go to Settings, then Security, and turn on two-step sign-in. You will then enter a code each time you sign in. You can also see which devices are signed in, and sign any of them out.

Who can see your information

Only the people on your team can see your store's sales, customers and numbers. Other stores that use Ledger Systems can never see yours, and you can never see theirs.

Backups

Every day we make a copy of the database, and we keep each daily copy for 365 days. The copies are there in case something goes wrong on our side. They are not a replacement for downloading your own information now and then.

When a customer asks to be removed

A customer can ask us to remove their personal information at ledgersystems.net/u/delete. We check the request, then take their name, phone number, address, signature, notes and delivery photos off their past sales. The sale totals stay, so your numbers do not change. We keep a record of each request. If we ever have to bring back an old copy of the database, we remove those customers' details from it again before anyone uses it, so they do not come back. Old copies are deleted after 365 days.
